Where to stay in toronto?

hi i am traveling ?to Toronto with my wife and my 2 years old child. since I am going for longer period(2 months) i am looking for a furnished suite/apartment/condo(1 bedroom + furnished kitchen + parking, i am not looking for studios or shared kitchen ). i have searched a lot and found many short term and vacation rentals but they are either not available in the time frame i am going(mid April – 5 June) or are very expensive(more than CAD 2500, my budget is up to 2500 for the entire duration)
i am looking for a place like downtown area where there is a mall(eaton center) , shopping on the street(so that we can go out and walk any time) , late night open supermarket/superstore & parks.
i know there are many such places in toronto and not just down town but i am not familiar with them

please suggest me a good place or provide me a link where i can search for the apartment. so far i have searched the classifieds online.

Is CAD2500 enough for 1.5 months. ? which area should i stay in . which apartment/condo

it does not need to be downtown. but a place where there is a shopping mall at walking distance, a large park with swings, a shopping street, drugmart, wallmart and night life

Hi, 2500 is cutting it a little slim. Normally you could get a nice 1 bed large apt. with a gym for around 1100 maybe 1200/mo. But you would not be signing a lease….
