They do still advertise — but the focus is on President’s Choice products, not on the stores themselves.
Oddly enough, I associate these commercials with “Star Trek The Next Generation”; I guess that’s when they used to run.

Superstore is part of the Loblaws chain. I don’t think Loblaws has advertised on TV in years. I’ve posted an early 1970s Canadian “Sesame Street” segment. Going by the orange colour scheme, the round checkout conveyors and the slogan “More than the price is right” partly visible on a wall—it was shot in a Loblaws.
