Over the years Mr. Carey stood by my side, believing and trusting in me when other had given up. Had it not been for this dear mans loving dedication I honestly believe that I never would have gotten saved. Congratulations for an award well deserved!!! I love you my brother!

No other teacher has influenced more students than Mr. Carey. I would not be the teacher I am today if it was not for him. He has sacrificed so much for his students. He deserves this award.

Mr. Carey is a teacher to the very core. Having had the opportunity to spend time with him as a student, a fellow teacher, and in his home he never stops teaching.

Mr. Carey is a great influence to all that have the pleasure to be around him. From the moment his name is mentioned it commands respect, not because he demands it, but because he has earned it many times over for all the years of dedication to North Valley Baptist. He has a true passion for what he does and he continues to pass on his knowledge of life and academics. He truly is one of the greatest teachers Ive ever known. Thank you Mr. Carey!
